General Information

Voice over IP
Voice over IP (VOIP) allows you to get some of all of your phone service via the Internet.  This can save substantial money, and increase your capacity.

Analog Phone
An analog phone, otherwise known as a POTS phone, is a phone that can be plugged directly into a normal phone jack, much like you would have at home.

IP Phone
An IP phone connects to your phone system over the Internet, rather than requiring a cable directly from your phone to the phone system.  You do not need a TalkSwitch with VOIP capacity to use an IP phone.

TalkSwitch is a full telephone system in a small box.  It has many features and benefits that can help your business, including:

Read on for a better explanation of each of the above.

Free Up Receptionist Time

TalkSwitch has advanced automated attendant capability that can answer your phone calls so that your receptionist does not have to.  The automated attendants can allow callers to dial people by name, play recordings of your hours or directions to your office, or queue the call to the first available member of your sales team.

If you prefer to always have a live voice answer, the TalkSwitch Attendant Console software can allow the receptionist to easily transfer and park calls, and monitor the availability of each extension.

Either way, your receptionist will have time to spare, which can be used for projects critical to your business or organization.

Professional Image

How many times have you called a business, only to have your call picked up by a poor quality answering machine?  What impression did that give you of the business?  A call answered by a TalkSwitch system sounds the same to the caller as a $50,000 enterprise phone system.  In addition, with the ability to use professionally-recorded prompts or advertising on hold can make your business sound like a million bucks!  The beauty is that you can have all of this without spending many bucks at all.

Voice over IP

Voice over IP allows you to make and receive calls using your Internet connection, rather than traditional phone lines.  A Voice over IP circuit costs a fraction of a traditional phone line, and reduces long distance charges as well.  You can choose your carrier from a list of national providers, rather than being forced to use your local phone company.

Without the constraints of needing a phone line for every call you make or receive, you can ensure that your callers never receive a busy signal, without costing you a fortune.

Connectivity

TalkSwitch offer many ways to give outside users the benefits you enjoy from your system.  You can place an extension in the home of one of your employees, giving them all the benefits of the system.  Your cell phone users can be connected as system extensions as well, giving them unprecedented capabilities.  Finally, TalkSwitch system in multiple offices are easily connected, allowing you to keep all of your offices in touch.

Reduced Operating Costs

Traditional phone systems often involve monthly maintenance charges, expensive service contracts, and additional charges each time you want to change your system or move an extension.

Not so with TalkSwitch!  Support is free for life.  The warranty renewal after the first year is less that $250.  System changes are made easily thanks to the easy-to-use configuration software.  And, extensions are moved just by unplugging them from one network jack, and plugging them into another.
